For the past 11 weeks, my husband and I have visited churches in our hometown of Duncanville.  We’re not looking for a new church home, but wanted to meet our neighbors (and what better place to do so than in church).  Eleven Sundays … a different church every week … it’s getting hard now to remember where and when we visited.

Starting at the Baptist church (because that’s what we’re accustomed to), we went to the Church of Christ, Christian Church, Methodist, Presbyterian, Church of God, Bible Church, Evangelical Christian, Non-Denominational, Nazarene, Assembly of God … whew!  Big, small, loud, quiet, friendly, not so friendly, stand up, sit down, kneel, raise our hands, clap, shout – this sounds like a Church menu.

However, each week the same thought keeps playing over and over in my head:   no matter what roof you’re sitting under, all of us are more alike than different; and all of us have need for a Savior.  Hallelujah, what a Savior we have!
