I’m always amazed at the opportunities that God creates for us. Last week, Karen Kuonen and I were featured on the Casoundra Brown Show, “Let’s Talk,” on Fish Bowl Radio, an internet-based radio network. Two hours to talk exclusively about the collective ministries of Initiative 180 and Peace After the Storm to people across the nation and around the world. That’s pretty awesome!
We spoke from our hearts and provided the information we share on a daily basis about what abortion does to individuals and families. During the “talk” I was reminded just how little people know about abortion … what it can do to the mothers, the fathers, the parents, the siblings, other children, to our communities. We shared the increase in child abuse rates and divorce rates. We talked about the medical consequences from poor surgical procedures, medical abortions, and the breast cancer link. We talked about the global impact of abortion.
Saving the best for last, we finished with the opportunity to share our testimony of the forgiveness and restoration we each received from Jesus Christ to thousands that night. That’s the hope we share that there is no sin, even the sin of abortion, that is too big for God to forgive. It was a powerful moment. The a personal testimony sharing your faith and how God changed your life has eternal impact that cannot be measured.
When was the last time you shared your testimony? Do you need to dust it off? Remember, people can refuse to believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and the Son of God, but no one can refute what Jesus Christ has done in your life.
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” (Revelation 12:11)
